Peace and Quietness
The Sun Moon Lake is famous for its beautiful changeable landscape, and the local black tea TTES No.18 is also a successful agricultural product. We tried to design a special tea set which can reproduce the peaceful and calm atmosphere while having tea.
Vessel
Several air vents were designed around the oven for the heating candle. When the tea pot is emptied, it can be rotated into a specific position and blocking the vents. The candle will be extinguished to prevent the pot from over heating.
Eastern, Western
The tea cups were designed to fit both Eastern and Western usage. It can be held with full hand, or, thanks to the special handles, grabbed elegantly from the side.
Ripple
The tea canister provides suitble storage for dry tea leaf. On the inside, several fading lines were created as a symbol of water ripples. Outside, the shape is in-line follows the same design as the cup and the pot.
Surface
Made by teak and glass, the tray creates an elegant and reflective platform for the set pieces. Just like the Sun Moon Lake, humble, steady and peaceful.
One Year Sponsored Project
